Usedom.
At your own pace.
A day at the beach. A walk by the lagoon. A morning when you decide to linger a little longer. Apartment No. 1 in Zirchow gives you a starting point for your own island break. Here are a few ideas for Usedom as a couple, without a packed itinerary.
Your starting point: Zirchow.
No. 1 is at Lindenstraße 3A in southern Usedom. You stay on the top floor of an apartment building, with your own kitchen and free private parking at the property. The apartment is not directly on the Baltic beach. The seaside resorts and Szczecin Lagoon are destinations for days out.
A little Baltic time.
Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin combine beaches, promenades and piers. Choose one of the three for your day: a walk by the sea, a view from the pier and time for a break. You do not need to see everything at once.
According to Booking.com, Ahlbeck pier is approximately 8.6 km from No. 1. This is a guide; distance and travel time depend on your route. Find current information from the official seaside resort and pier guide.
Discover the lagoon side.
For a different view of Usedom, explore the southern side by Szczecin Lagoon. Take time for small villages and a pause by the water. Choose routes to suit the weather and stay on marked paths in nature.
The official island guide introduces the villages around Szczecin Lagoon, with ideas for your own outing.
A day at home is island time too.
When you want a break from exploring, No. 1 is your retreat: cook together, linger over breakfast at the dining table or settle into the living room with a book. You decide how much you want to do.
A small outing: Kamminke.
For some time by the water, explore Kamminke on the Szczecin Lagoon from Zirchow. The fishing village is an idea for an outing of your own: arrive at the harbour, take in the lagoon and leave the day free of a long checklist. Find information about the village through the official island information.
When the sky takes a break.
A rainy day can become a day of culture. The Hans Werner Richter House in Bansin explores literature and the author. Villa Irmgard in Heringsdorf combines a museum with cultural activities. Choose a place that interests you and check opening hours and the current programme with the venue.
Every season has its own rhythm.
In spring, a walk along the promenade can start your island day. In summer, leave room for a break between the beach and an outing. Autumn and winter lend themselves to shorter walks by the water and a cosy evening in No. 1. These are ideas for your stay; weather, daylight and current availability help shape the day.
Plan less. Choose with care.
One destination a day can be enough. Pair a walk in Ahlbeck with time on the pier, or a lagoon outing with a quiet evening in your own kitchen. For events, check current information from the Imperial Baths and Usedom.de. Contact Marcus with questions about No. 1 or your arrival.
Arrive prepared.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Earlier check-in may be possible on request, subject to availability. The top floor is reached by stairs; there is no lift. Pets are not permitted. Details of your allocated parking space arrive with your arrival information.
